Children are not small adults. Each of the developmental ages and stages has specific needs and concerns. |

Sadly, some children have special needs. What differentiates a truly child friendly pediatric programme is a |
| |
recognition of these unique needs. Children need to be approached with humor, compassion and respect. |
| |
Where possible they need to participate in their care. They need to be dealt with honestly – pain and discomfort |
| |
should be discussed openly and deception should be avoided. |

Dr Loubser brings his many years of experience working in children’s hospitals to |

the Infinity team, infusing a child-friendly attitude into the organisation. At Infinity, we |

At the Infinity Health Clinic, we have have adapted the 2007 American Academy of Paediatrics and the CDC's |
| guidelines to create our 2008 Recommended Vaccine Schedule for children living here in Dubai. |

| Whilst you may have been on a different schedule elsewhere, we are more than happy to meet with you to |
| discuss your baby's immunisation needs. |

Well Baby Clinic |

| Helen Gillespie is our Baby Clinic nurse. Every Monday and Tuesday she is on |
| hand to listen to your concerns, and answer any questions that you may have. |
| Listening is the key to helping you find the best balance for you and for your |
| baby. Helen is supportive and caring with your child's interests at heart. |
| |
| Nurse Helen has many years of experience in paediatric nursing and hails from |
| Scotland. |

Tweens and Teens |
| |

Growing up can be a difficult time for both the child as well as the parents. |
| There are sometimes questions, fears and concerns that are raised - many of |
| which may need to be answered and allayed. |
| |
| At Infinity Heath, Dr. Corina takes a special interest in young women's health. |
| She's more than happy to council young women to deal with any concerns. In |
| conjuction with this role, she is also willing to meet with parents to help them |
| understand what their child is feeling and how possibly they can help guide and |
| |
support their tween and teen throughout this phase. |

At Infinity Health, we are strong supporters of the new vaccine against cervial cancer. It's an issue which affects |
| |
many women around the world and is now preventable. Please, support your daughter's future health by having . |
| |
them vaccinated. Call our clinic to arrange an appointment or to find out more about this important breakthrough. |

Just like their sisters, young men also often have questions |
|
| |
regarding their maturity. Some feel too shy to talk to family |
| |
members or even to a female doctor. |

At the Infinity Health Clinic, Dr. Sean Petherbridge (being a |

younger male doctor), is on hand to listen and to be a good |
| |
source of medical advice / understanding to these young |
| men. |
