Dr. Lloyds many titles include Director of Plastic Surgery and Vice Chairman of Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center, Attending Surgeon in Plastics at the Hospital for Special Surgery and an Associate Attending Surgeon in the Division of Plastic Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education of the City College of New York, where he was on the Dean’s List and graduated cum laude. Dr. Gayle then earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lloyd has completed extensive postdoctoral training. He was both a Resident and Chief Resident in General Surgery at Booth Memorial Medical Center. Subsequently, Dr. Gayle was a Resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical Center. In addition, he was a Fellow in Hand and Microsurgery at the Ralph K. Davies Medical Center in the Microsurgical Replantation Transplantation Department.
