Dr. Sapna treats each child with keen attention and affection, and has extensive experience in managing both severely ill and injured children as well as those presenting with less serious illness and injury. She is highly experienced in emergency paediatric care.
After graduating from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 1994, Dr. Sapna was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She then undertook postgraduate training in Paediatric Emergency Medicine in the UK, which included a one-year Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Sydney.
In 2003, Dr. Sapna was appointed as a Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine at Birmingham Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (UK) where her experience and expertise grew stronger. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and a member of the Association of Paediatric Emergency Medicine (APEM).
She is passionate about medical education, believes in empowering parents with as much medical knowledge and information for their children’s well-being as possible. She is also is actively involved in the clinic’s community initiatives and programmes.
